11th May 2010 - C3 Africa restructure

C3Africa, a member of the Ascentys Group, has been restructured as follows:

  • The Ascentys Group will retain the C3Africa Research division and the Contract Industry Hub     division; and
  • Rod Jones will retain the C3Africa brand and the consulting, events and marketing divisions.

The company restructure will allow both groups to simplify, streamline and optimise the value of services provided, better leverage and align the strengths of the divisions, and position the businesses for future profitable growth and opportunities...

C3Africa, a member of the Ascentys Group, has been restructured as follows:

In order to build and grow the C3Africa Research and Contact Industry Hub divisions, a new company Contact Centre Media & Research (CCMR) has been established. The primary focus of CCMR is creating business intelligence for contact centres and business process operations.

The establishment of CCMR will enable us to focus on driving the performance of our core business, and leverage the competitive advantage of our communications and research tools. We remain committed to the contact centre industry by continuing to provide specialised media services and business intelligence.

3rd March 2010 - New Editor for Contact Industry Hub

Roland Witham has been appointed Editor of the Ascentys Subsidiary Contact Industry Hub. This is part of the strategy of revamping the website and increasing the value proposition to all its user communities. Over the coming months visitors can look forward to many exciting changes aimed at maintaining the site as the premium portal for the African Call Centre Industry

25th February 2010 - Ascentys to launch new outsourced workforce management solution

Ascentys will launch an outsourced workforce management solution during March 2010. The services are geared at addressing shortage of skills in the workforce management arena, improving workforce performance and reducing the high cost of running captive workforce management teams and software. The solution will be flexible enough to address the needs of both large complex call centres as well as smaller simpler call centres. More information will be made available during March.

9th February 2010 - Jodene Rihm joins Ascentys as Divisional Executive Customer Contact Solutions

Jodene Rihm has joined the Ascentys team as the Divisional Executive for the Customer Contact Division.  Her extensive operational knowledge and insight in the local and international markets makes her a valuable senior member of the Ascentys team.

Prior to moving to South Africa from the UK to pursue a new career in South Africa, Jodene has worked in large scale Corporate Contact Centres throughout the UK.  Her strong management competencies ensured a successful career spanning over 10 years.

Jodene brings a wealth of experience and strategic insight to the South African call centre consulting industry. Her international experience ensures project alignment not only to local standards but to those of international best practice as well.
