Ascentys was instrumental in the development of the strategy, system architecture, business design, project and change management of a ground breaking ICT solution for the a provincial Legislature.

The strategic objectives of the solution were:

• Transformation of the legislature into a 21st century operation.
• Increasing the response to the public by decreasing the processing time of petitions formulation of legislation.
• Creating an oversight role.

This was primarily achieved by creating a platform for the storage of information in a manner that can be shared, retrieved and worked on in a collaborative manner.  The project centre’s on the creation of both a knowledge management system and collaboration system using workflow and document management.
